Tranquil Dog Clients Say...

Our dog had serious behavioral problems to the point that our vet actually referred us to NC State because she was uncomfortable treating her further. I called Tranquil Dog anyway because I’d seen so many recommendations and I’m so glad I did. We have seen amazing results and I know I can rely on her when I have questions or concerns.
I met Sara over 8 years ago when I was having issues with my boxer Cali, Sara was truly AMAZING, within 10 min she had Cali looking up at her waiting for instructions?. She quickly helped me gain the knowledge and confidence to manage Cali’s anxiety. Sara was always available between appointments by phone and email, her response time was quick and her advise was spot on. I have recommended Sara to friends and family and recently called her for an emergent situation with my nephew and his dog. Sara was eager to help and even with distance between all of us (all three of us are in different states) Sara managed to work with us through messenger, FaceTime and email and arranged online sessions with my nephew. I can’t say enough good things about Sara, her kind and gentle ways while working with dogs is a sight to see. I consider her The Dog Whisper♥️
Sara is simply incredible! She is an excellent teacher, and has amazing knowledge and insights into how to communicate with dogs. She really explains things on a level that makes sense to both dogs and humans and I cannot thank her enough. Her personal attention to each situation sets her apart from all the rest!
Sara is wonderful and I am so thankful for her help! Everything she said made so much sense and it gave me a way better understanding of dog behavior. It has been two weeks since our first session and I can’t believe these are my dogs! My dog Drogo is 101 pounds and nothing I did helped reign him in. Before Sara he was an annoying, spoiled, wants everything now brat and a pain to walk. Now he is a very well behaved dog and doing so good on walks. When a neighbor’s dog came rushing and barking towards him, he was totally calm and kept on walking. This would not have happened before. Of course Drogo is still rebelling a bit with the changes and Sara did say to expect that. Peeta is more confident and less anxious. Arya is more relaxed and seems really happy not to be constantly annoyed by Drogo. Sara’s training is completely force free and so easy to implement. Thank you Sara!
Sara is amazing! I found her through my vet’s office and I’m so glad I called. She helped us sort out some “aggressive” behaviors and also some basic training to keep our pittie mix from being so hyper. I’ve called her several times since and she has been consistently available to me for little things that have come up since our initial session.
I have to admit that I reached out to Sara based on her positive reviews. I can honestly say she arrived promptly and accessed the situation and spent so much time and patience with us but more important made a difference! I can only rave about her because she has made our life and more importantly our pups life better. She's following her God given gift and is in it for the right reasons of helping pups and their owners. She volunteers her services to Colonial Capitol Humane Society because she wants these poor pups to have loving homes and doesn't want to see others in frustration surrendering their pups. She's knowledgeable and affordable and most important puts her heart into it!
I had an extremely helpful session with Sara last week. I adopted my pit mix a year ago from a shelter. He’s a wonderful dog, but some serious trust issues, and he’s developed a very protective nature over me. I tried multiple avenues to correct this behavior with no success. Sara was extremely knowledgable. Her training philosophy focused on addressing the abnormal behavior rather than avoiding situations that set him off. In contrast to other recommendations I was given in the past, this really struck a chord with me. Before I met Sara I felt like I had to avoid commonplace situations just in order to keep him in a neutral state. I constantly felt on edge. Sara helped me to be more confident in taking the lead. She spent as much time as I needed to address any specific concerns I had or questions. I especially loved that she took the time to take him to the places where we were having the most trouble. We went on walks together and addressed the issues right then and there so I knew exactly how to properly correct in the future. Her training is practical focusing on pact instinct. I also appreciated her recommendations on diet, and products specific to our needs. I appreciate that these methods take time, and nothing is perfect yet, but I see progress! I can’t wait to continue moving forward with confidence and see more positive changes.
